Merchant Account Management

The American Express website also hosts a specialized platform serving the heightened account management needs for merchants who process American Express card payments. Merchant online account management comes with smooth and secure payment processing, access to a streamlined dispute resolution process, the availability of 24/7 support, and even a portal where merchants can purchase decals and signage for their brick and mortar stores to indicate that they accept American Express as well as contactless payments.

This is worth noting because American Express is not accepted everywhere you shop. Some merchants don’t accept payment with AmEx because the credit card company is known for charging higher merchant fees per transaction.
